William Dyrness is Professor of Theology and Culture, Dean Emeritus and founding member of the Brehm Center for Worship Theology and the Arts, at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.

His recent work includes Visual Faith: Art, Theology and Worship in Dialogue (2001), Reformed Theology and Visual Culture (2004), and Senses of the Soul: Art and the Visual in Christian Worship (2008) which resulted from a ethnographic study funded by the Henry Luce Foundation. He is currently researching aesthetics in the Buddhist and Muslim traditions. His new book, Poetic Theology, will be out in summer 2010.
