Fung holds an M.Div. from Regent College, an M.A. in Art Therapy from George Washington University, and a B.A. in Art and Biblical Studies from Wheaton College. She is a daughter of immigrants from Hong Kong and Guangdong, China.

Especially interested in the work of the artist in the community, she specializes in art and religion, the period of the Reformation, and the intersection of women’s studies and religion.
